You Matter To Us

No matter how small you are, Jesus notices you.

No matter who ignores you, Jesus knows you.

No matter what you've done, Jesus wants you.

We'd love to show you how you matter to Jesus each and every day.

Worship

Our worship gathering everyone together is at 10 am Sunday. A band leads us in praise and worship songs, we pray for healing in people’s lives, we sing hymns along with a wonderful pipe organ, we hear a message from the Bible, we enjoy being together in the presence of God.

During worship, our teachers lead classes for the children. Before the 10 am worship, we have vibrant study in classes for adults, studying God’s Word in its relevance to our lives.

Growing Together

Grow

We choose to grow, to know the joy of becoming stronger, healthier, more loving, wiser, closer to God. So in addition to the classes Sunday morning, we have very active Bible studies and small groups that meet through the week.

We have a weekly youth group gathering, and even our choir practice is like a small group experience itself, with lots of laughter and prayer! All these regular weekly gatherings are used by God’s love to help us grow deeper as a people.

Online

We are a community-minded group of Jesus followers, with a heart to serve.

Serve the Community

The people of our church have a big heart for loving (and serving alongside) folks in our community. Every Friday in our building we host a Community Kitchen meal, to which everyone is invited—and other local organizations take turns with us providing and serving the food.

Every Wednesday from 10 am to 12 noon, our Food Pantry gives bags of food to Elkton residents who can provide proof of need. Our Financial Outreach office is open the first Wednesday each month (10 am to 12 noon), to help folks who are struggling to pay utilities and rent bills.

For help through these ministries, call us at 410-398-4636 or email us at office@elktonpresbyterian.com. We also work alongside and under the leadership of other compassion ministries in our area such as the Paris Foundation, Meeting Ground, and Youth Empowerment Source.

We think God has called us to loving service to the community. We would love to have you come alongside us in this calling!

Live with Purpose

Live with Purpose

In all of what we do and experience—whether worshipping, growing, or serving—we desire to be centered on Jesus Christ.

Our purpose is to bring people to Jesus, nurture people in Jesus, and send them out to serve Jesus. This is because Jesus has lovingly reached and rescued us. As a people we want to live in gratitude to him, live under the shaping power of his Spirit, and act out his love in our relationships with others.

We hope you will consider “checking us out!”
